As a writer, you must ensure your readers get curious about your book. You need to set the stage appropriately that triggers their feelings and leaving them anxious to purchase and start reading.

It can be possible, by writing a perfect book description for your book, while uploading on Amazon for review. Here are following step by step guide which can help to write a great description for your book.

1. Do not Make It about Yourself

You don't have to include, the number of grants you've won and why you're so marvelous. Instead, make it about the reader. What are they going to gain from your book? For what reason is it will worth their time and money?

2. Be Exciting

Your description should be lively and enjoyable to read. In the case, that you're not getting the reader pumped up to read your book, it's not adequately energizing and exciting.
For Instance, your book is about fitness, your description should be getting the reader eager to get a fit body. How incredible they will feel when they reach their weight loss goal and get a desired body shape, etc.

3. Show the Image of Benefits

Don't simply discuss what's inside the book and what issues your readers face, make it a stride further and show the readers what life will resemble once they follow your recommendations. Always be straightforward though.
For Instance, In the chapter, "Guest Blogging", instead of saying, "You'll learn how to get more blog post", just say, "You'll be able to grow your blog and generate a huge traffic through guest blogging".

4. Metadata/keywords

On the off chance that individuals aren't searching for the keywords, nobody will find it. Do some keyword research and see what individuals are looking for, both on Amazon and Google. Then, at that point, include those keywords smartly in your book description. Having keywords that individuals are looking for can really build your shots at being found. Simply ensure that when they do find you they are not turned off by your keyword stuffing rather than a rousing description.

5. Add Some Style

Here are some example of the headline style:

Font Weight: The text you want to make bold
Italics: The text you want to make italic
Headline:
The text you want for a headline

Amazon Orange Headline:
The text you want to make bold

Make it eye-catching, use emoticons/emojis, but don't go for odd. You can add numbering and bullet points, too.

6. Start with Strong Headline

Screw up the headline and you've lost the reader and maybe a potential consumer. The headline is your initial feeling. It needs to attract individuals and arouse their curiosity. A decent headline should be short and simple to read. A great deal of effective Amazon sellers start with a question that resonates with the reader. I have an example of short and simple headline, "Why People buy books?", etc.

7. Write a Sales Copy

Your book is a product and you are attempting to sell it. This calls for sales copy. Valid, it may cost just 99 cents, but you actually need to persuade the reader that it's awesome.
Your description should not only be a synopsis or a bio, it's a business page. In case you're not sure writing a sales copy, then hire copywriter to do it for you. It's not modest, however the ROI is worth it.

8. Stay on Topic

If the reader can't tell precisely the thing in the book is regarding by the description, there's a little possibility he/she will read it. Try not to be too fancy and be sure you stay on topic. Additionally ensure you include what the book is about and why individuals should buy it.

9. Proofreading

Yeah, it’s no need, but eliminate the typos and grammatical errors risks, otherwise you can kiss your possible sale farewell and loose the reader trust for always. It may be a best to you to hire a professional proofreader to look for typos and grammar issues with fresh eyes. You can take benefits of grammarly chrome extension.

10. Call to Action for Your Reader

The most effective method to include a call to action is to write something along the lines of, "now, scroll to the top of this page and purchase the book and begin today." Don't think of it as being salesy, rather you're simply uplifting them to make a move.
